Off-Campus Housing Fair
What is the Housing Fair?
This event is an open house in the IUPUI Campus Center multipurpose room that takes place every year. It is an opportunity for students to do "one stop shopping" for places to live in Indianapolis and the surrounding suburbs. The Housing Fair brings together property managers and community resources in order to inform students about housing options and how to successfully live off campus.

The Housing Fair will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm in room 450 of the Campus Center at IUPUI. Participants will be able to set up beginning at 8:00 am and will be able to tear down until 3:30 pm.

The Campus Center Citizens Commons food court, located on the first floor, offers a variety of dining choices: Spotz Grille, Chick-fil-A, Flatbreads Pizza, Rio Frontera (Mexican) and Wild Greens (salads). On the other side of the first floor is Outtakes, a convenience store, and Starbucks. The second floor also has a Caribou Coffee and Mondo Subs.
How will the Housing Fair be publicized to students?
Our office puts out sign stands in the Campus Center and around campus; sends out posters to campus offices, bulletin boards, and other approved poster displays; and hangs large banners around the Campus Center where over 7500 people enter each day. We advertise on our website in several locations, on the main IUPUI web page, on the plasma televisions around campus, and the University Events Calendar. We also distribute handbills in high-traffic areas on the days leading up to the Fair.
How many students attend the Housing Fair?
On average, over 300-400 students attend the Fair.
I want to provide FOOD at my booth. What do I need to do to make this happen?
Pre-packaged and individually wrapped goods are no problem, however, if you are bringing anything which is not individually packaged (including ordering pizza or providing mints, bite-size brownies, M&Ms, cookies, hot dogs, popcorn, etc.) please contact the Student Advocate at (317) 278-7594. We would be happy to work with you to navigate IUPUI's health code related to preparing and serving food on campus!
