In-person Presentations

CAPS' staff offers classroom and group presentations upon request and as time allows. Many of the presentations are both informational and interactive and allow individuals to identify their strengths, underutilized resources and areas of concern.

Previously requested topics include:

  • Time management
  • Stress management
  • Study and test taking strategies
  • Preventing and responding to test anxiety
  • Communication/Assertiveness skills
  • Responding to individuals in crisis
  • Alcohol and drug awareness
  • Dealing with difficult people
  • Conflict Resolution

CAPS' presenters will work to develop programs related to special interests and concerns whenever possible. To request a presentation, please submit a Presentation Request Form at least two weeks prior to the anticipated presentation date.

CAPS' presenters consist of professional staff and graduate students.

The availability will depend upon the level of demand for CAPS' services at the time.

After each presentation, please take a moment to complete our Presentation Evaluation Form.
