IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
Celebrate diversity and cultural enrichment at IUPUI. Campus & Community Life has a variety of events, trainings, resources, and initiatives that will educate you about diversity on our campus and in our world today.
Take advantage of the programs we have related to diversity each semester. We have general cultural enrichment programming, and we celebrate six cultural heritage months each year including, Black History Month in February, Women’s History Month in March, Asian Heritage Month in April, Hispanic Heritage Month in September, GLBT History Month in October, and Native American Heritage Month in November.
There are many avenues for increasing the awareness of diverse groups and cultures for yourself or your group. There is always a need for continuous improvement and growth when diversity awareness is concerned. One would need to look no further than local campus offices like Office for Professional Development and Human Resources and area groups to find opportunities for both training and consulting. Contact Campus & Community Life if you are interested in learning more about this service.
There are a variety of other resources outside of Campus & Community Life related to diversity. View these websites inside and outside of IUPUI to learn more about available educational materials and services.
