A limited number of residential spaces have been secured with Dora Properties, Park Place at City Centre located at 1150 N. White River Pkwy, West Drive adjacent to the IUPUI campus. Park Place is an apartment style facility offering an onsite fitness center, community meeting room, study space and Residence Life Staff. The goal is to create the same residential campus housing experience in the Park Place facility as a student would have living in our on campus facilities. There will be shuttle service to connect our residents to the IUPUI campus, IUPD will assist with resident safety and security, and the RAs will be facilitation community events and programs.
Students are not given the option to preference Supplemental Campus Housing on the housing application. Our primary responsibility is to ensure we fully occupy all of our on-campus facilities. Our supplemental housing facility will be filled after all of our on-campus facilities are under contract.
A limited number of apartments in each of the following layouts are available:
One Bedroom Apartment: (1) double occupancy bedroom
Two Bedroom Apartment: (1) single occupancy bedroom, (1) double occupancy bedroom
Three Bedroom Apartment: (2) single occupancy bedrooms, (1) double occupancy bedroom
All student apartments in Park Place Apartments are furnished with twin or double beds. Each unit also includes a refrigerator, range, and microwave. No furniture or decorations may be removed from the apartments. Individual furnishings vary by unit type; please review the floor plans to determine what furnishings are included in your unit. Residents will be provided a specific room number at move-in. The individual beds within a bedroom are selected by the residents of the unit on a first come first served basis.

Supplemental Campus Housing for up to 260 IUPUI students will be located at Park Place at City Centre, 1150 N. White River Pkwy, West Drive, adjacent to the IUPUI campus.
Yes, Supplemental Campus Housing at Park Place at City Centre will be administered by Park Place at City Centre in cooperation with the IUPUI Office of Housing and Residence Life. Individual contracts are with Park Place, however all assignments and move-in arrangements must be made through the Office of Housing and Residence Life. A Graduate Hall Director, 8 Resident Assistants and 1 Social Justice will be living among the student residents in Park Place, and will assist in administering the residence life program. Students residing in Park Place are expected to abide by all IUPUI and Housing and Residence Life policies including, but not limited to, the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. No pets are allowed.

Residents will first need to participate in the move-in process at the Campus Apartments on the River Walk. Specific details regarding move-in will be sent to residents once their completed housing agreement is returned.

No. Monthly rents will be paid directly to Park Place. If you desire, you can pay your rent in advance. Park Place requires a credit card prepayment to be made with the return of the signed contract.
Prepayments are due at contract signing in the form of a check made payable to Park Place. Prepayments for Park Place will be applied to the last month's rent or the contract buyout fee should you decide to break your contract prior to the contract end date. Should you decide to cancel your contract prior to arrival, the prepayment is non-refundable as it applies towards contract breakage penalties.
If you receive financial aid, your housing rent will no longer be automatically deducted from your aid award. After your registration fees are paid, the remainder of your award will be sent to you in a refund check or deposited in your bank account, according to prior arrangements you have made. You will be responsible for paying your rent yourself out of your refund. In this case, we would recommend you pay your rent by the semester (approximately 4 months of rent at a time).
Yes. Housing and Residence Life will have limited access to a community area in Park Place where programs, activities and special events will take place. Students living in Supplemental Campus Housing at Park Place are welcome to attend the special events and programs sponsored by Housing and Residence Life on campus as well.
Park Place is conveniently located on the IndyGo line, and all IUPUI receive an "S-Pass" that allows free usage of the bus line. In addition, IUPUI will supplement the bus schedule with limited shuttle service. The campus shuttle will make stops at Park Place at City Centre; the campus shuttle is free for IUPUI students. In addition, Park Place at City Centre also has its own limited shuttle to campus and downtown that residents can choose to use for a small fee. Park Place at City Centre is also located on the city bus line 37, with stops on New York (eastbound towards the campus and downtown) and 10th Streets (westbound from campus to Park Place at City Centre).
Park Place is equipped with a buzz/intercom system, the entryway to the elevator foyer will be secured and require key card access. The front desk is staffed Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am – 11:00 pm. Indiana University Police Department will be providing patrols in and around the facility and Resident Assistants make regular rounds on resident floors during the evening hours. Additionally, two Indiana University Police Department officers/cadets live on a student floor in the Park Place facility.
There is not a computer lab available at Park Place; however, wireless internet is available throughout the building.
Park Place at City Centre has a U-Club community meeting room, a fitness center, tennis courts, basketball courts, an outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally). These amenities are available to residents of Park Place at no additional charge. Coin operated laundry facilities are available onsite. Lastly, there is a Graduate Hall Director that works directly with the Park Place Community. Whether students are having a difficult time transitioning to college or have a roommate concern, the Graduate Hall Director is there during their office hours to assist students.
Parking passes for students at Park Place will be issued by Parking Services. The passes will allow residents to park at Park Place anytime and on campus between 4:00pm and 7:00am, Monday through Friday and weekends. Additionally, Park Place residents will have access to all other parking services benefits (Escort Service, Jump Start Service etc.) Residents will be able to purchase their permit on line prior to their arrival, otherwise they will need to visit parking services to obtain a parking pass.
