We look forward to your arrival to campus. Moving in to campus housing is an exciting time, but it can also be a little hectic. Below you will find a variety of information that will assist in the ease of your first day here at IUPUI!
Check in is available only during specific times for summer move in. Check in times and location details will be included with your summer housing contract packet. You may pick up your keys during your check in time. You are not required to move all of your belongings in during this time period.
Saturday, August 17, 2013
Due to construction and limited unloading space, students will be assigned specific arrival and unloading times. Students will receive move in invitations with details about their assigned check in time and starting location. The invitations will be sent out the first week in August.
The relationships you establish at IUPUI can help you make the most of your university residential experience. Included will be your roommate's name and email address, if available. The Office of Housing and Residence Life encourages all residents that have been assigned to multiple resident units (2BR/4BR/Double Room/Triple Room) to contact their assigned roommates prior to move in.
Residents will receive roommate information with their move in invitation between the last week in July and first week in August.
You don't need to bring everything with you the day you move in. Most students typically bring much more than they will need and there is no storage space outside of your room/apartment. To make packing easier, check out the Packing List link and the list of items that are already in your room below.
Please keep in mind that there are no elevators in the Campus Apartments, therefore it is better to pack a number of smaller boxes that can be carried by one person.
*University Tower packing list information will be added in late June
