Recommend an Outstanding Resident!

Do you know an IUPUI housing resident you think is outstanding? We want to know. We are looking for student leaders who put forth special effort and are more than just a resident on campus; we want to recognize Outstanding Residents! Tell us what made this individual extraordinary during the nomination period and how he/she has contributed to IUPUI housing community.

About 9 residents each year are selected to represent IUPUI Housing and Residence Life as an Outstanding Resident. These residents are nominated by their peers and staff and selected by the Recognition and Programming Committee once per month. They somehow embody the spirit of community, leadership, or commitment to IUPUI. To help you out on how to spot an Outstanding Resident, some traits to observe are: going above and beyond to make others feel at home, being an active member of and asset to the community, being highly involved on campus and a good representative of an IUPUI housing resident, etc. This will help us tell Housing and Residence Life's story through the stories of the residents who make this campus one of America's top urban universities.

When you have someone in mind, just fill out and submit the recommendation form below. The Outstanding Resident award winner's profile, including photo, will be featured on the Housing & Residence Life webpage and other key locations. Forms must be submitted by the 20th of each month. You can turn in this form to the main office in Ball Hall or via e-mail to ressaf@iupui.edu.
