  • Crossing the Line
This is an interactive activity that builds diversity awareness within a group. The goals of this activity include helping participants learn about themselves, giving participants an opportunity to reflect upon their self and cultural identity, and helping students to become aware of the diversity within the group.
  • Four Corners
In Four Corners, students will be asked to identify with several scenarios, some that they may easily identify with and some that may be more difficult, based on personal experiences. The students will engage in discussion about why they were able to relate to certain scenarios and why stereotypes may frame their thinking.
  • Identity Circles
Identity Circles is an activity that encourages participants to reflect on and share the qualities they consider fundamental to their identity. This activity can help students build skills of self-reflection, communication and appreciation for diversity.
  • DOT Exercise-"I Don't Have Any Stereotypes"
This exercise helps students explore how identity is shaped and valued. This workshop will help the participants realize how the messages they receive from a variety of sources and their beliefs influence their interactions with others.
  • How MULTI is your CULTURE?
This workshop is designed to engage students in a process to help them define "culture" and understand its complexity. Students will be asked to reflect on and share what defines their own culture.
