Getting Started

Below you will find a checklist with descriptions of what it takes to start a student organization with Registered Student Organization (RSO) status. For additional information, view the Student Organization Manual.

Constitution An organization must have a written constitution in a digital format to upload during registration. Items in a Constitution Word document
Guidelines
Advisor An organization must have an advisor who is a full-time IUPUI faculty or staff member. Role of Advisors
Nuts & Bolts Session At least one member of each student organization must annually attend a Nuts & Bolts session, usually held at the beginning of each academic year. Nuts & Bolts

If you have all the above requirements ready to go, you can register your student organization.
