Day of Caring

Friday, September 16, 2011

8:00 am – 1:00 pm

IUPUI's United Way Day of Caring is an annual campus tradition. During the Day of Caring, teams of IUPUI students, faculty, staff and guests volunteer at non-profits across greater Indianapolis. In 2006, we moved the IUPUI Day of Caring to a Friday to better accommodate faculty and staff team involvement. Please consider putting together a team of your co-workers, colleagues or classmates and spend a Friday volunteering.

Note: All IUPUI employees must receive permission from their supervisor to participate if the volunteer opportunity is during normal work hours.

Registration is now open. Please follow this link to complete it: tinyurl.com/iupuidoc

For more information on Day of Caring contact the Office of Community Service or the Office of Student Involvement in CE 370, or call (317) 274-3931.

Individuals needing more information or auxiliary aids for communication or assistance for access or accommodation should contact Patty Mathison, Coordinator of the Office of Community Service at (317) 278-2504, or pmathiso@iupui.edu at least three days prior to the event.
