On January 21, 2013, IUPUI will host its twelfth annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. IUPUI's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is an annual campus tradition. This event, organized by a group of student leaders, honors one of the greatest freedom activists of all time, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hundreds of IUPUI students, faculty, staff, and guests volunteer at community sites across Indianapolis as a way to honor Dr. King's commitment to service and to social justice.
The theme for this MLK Day of Service will BE RELENTLESS. This theme exhibits one of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s significant characteristics in that he relentlessly challenged people to address social justice issues and help others.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS DAY OF SERVICE. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO CAPACITY, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT WALK-INS FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
All participants must register themselves for this event. If you are part of a team, "Team Leaders" and "Team Names" can be indicated on the form.
